Taking into consideration the history you have learned this term, why is poverty so persistent among African Americans?

choose one of the below for your main post. Respond to at least one student who answered a different question from you. The answers should come from your textbook, the book of primary source documents, the assigned website, the lecture, videos, and the research you conducted in the APUS Library. Respond as many times as you wish. Your two best responses will be graded.
1.) Taking into consideration the history you have learned this term, why is poverty so persistent among African Americans?
2.) Think about the Hip-Hop culture and how it has gone mainstream. What is its importance for black culture, and how is it another example of sports and the arts breaking down racial barriers? Why is it in sports and the arts that this happens and not in, for example, science or religion?
3.) Examine why the Civil Rights Movement stalled by the mid-1970's. By the end of the 1980's, how successful had it been? Were the desired freedoms won? What methods had it employed to best effect? Which strategies were most effective, and why? How did activism change? By 2005, what changes had taken place for African Americans? In this analysis, remember that African Americans are not a monolithic bloc. What divisions existed within the African American community by 2005?
4.) Examine in the 1980's and later the entry of African Americans in Congress. Did it change the face of government? Did it change anything more substantially?
5.) Analyze the problem of "driving while black" and the incarceration of African Americans.
6.) How did Ronald Reagan's presidency change the economic reality for African Americans?
Note: Sometime this week, in one of your posts, you should reflect on what, in all your required work, you learned new, surprising, and interesting. If you cannot clearly demonstrate you have learned from all the required work in one of those three posts, then write this fourth post summarizing what you have learned from the required work. This is your opportunity, if you have not had a chance in your various posts, to demonstrate that you have done all the required work for this week.

1.Starting with this provided code, add the following functionality: Replace hardcoded strings “Zero”, “One”, “Two”, “Three” in the ArrayList based on user typed input (use Scanner or JOptionPane classes). The user will be prompted for the String to be stored in the ArrayList and then hit enter. The user will be able to continue to add items to the ArrayList until they just hit enter without typing anything. Once the user does this (hits enter without typing anything), the program will display all of the elements of the ArrayList, both the index and String values, in a table. It will do this via a single loop making use of an iterator method. 2. Starting with this provided code, add the following functionality: Use a Try/Catch block so that the exception is caught and the program exits a bit more gracefully. Save this file as TryCatch.java. (Be sure to rename the Public Class accordingly.) Starting with the provided code again (without the Try/Catch block), fix the code so that

THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION AND THE EARLY REPUBLIC

Assignment Overview The American Revolution and Independence As we saw in the Module Overview, there were numerous factors that ultimately led to revolution and independence. In this second Case assignment, you’ll be researching and writing about some of those factors. Case Assignment Write a 3 to 4-page essay identifying at least FOUR factors which led to colonial independence. In your paper, explain which events triggered discord between the colonies and the Mother Country. Be sure to do some research on your own and use other resources to analyze the thought-processes which sparked independent thinking. The best way to approach and organize the paper would be to create a title for each event and then discuss your findings. For example; for the first one you could write, “Event 1, The Seven Years War”. This would be followed by your narrative on how this war led to independence. The rest of the paper would follow this pattern. Assignment Expectations Use concepts from the background
