First: Spread Sheet - Amazon Valuation
On Amazon Valuation sheet: Base Assumption tab: We need to built number based on the Financial tab. These number will be guess but need to make sense. You will need to look at the " https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/AMZN?p=AMZN " you can see the stock price now is 1,195.35. After you have done with the base Assumptions Tab. You will see on the Forecast tab and run Macros and will see the the number of Value of equity per share (end of 2016) and Value of equity (as of 9/30/2017). ( see the attachment named " 1" , that`s how you can run the new number forecast. ) You can see the Charts tab and write the big picture based on that.
To calculate the Cost of equity = WACC = You will need to calculate the Cost of Capital ( I attached)
Second: Spread Sheet- Amazon Cost of Capital
I already built the Monthly- Weekly- Daily tab. You can help me built the beta-bottom up beta- cost of equity, cost of debt and wacc.
I also attached the needed excel sheets, you can find the needed info- Beta, dividend, etc to help you complete the Amzone cost of Capital.
You are free to gather any other relevant information that is available to you through public or PSU library sources (examples: Compustat database in WRDS, Morningstar.com, SEC filings, Yahoo!Finance, Damodaran’s website, PSU library resources for company and industry analysis, etc.)
