Most businesses of any substantial size usually have teams working whether to work on special initiatives, department projects, work with clients, and the like. You will start learning about becoming an effective team member through better understanding your own feelings about groups in the workplace, your community, and in your educational endeavors. Create a list of the best and worst group characteristics that you have experienced currently or in the past. Share this list with your fellow learners in the Discussion Board. After you have done so, please address the following questions: Why did your listed characteristics affect your groups in a beneficial manner or less beneficial manner? How did these characteristics affect the transactional and task processes of your groups? Consult pages 56 through 57 in your text. Which role do you typically fulfill in group meetings? Which role do you personally envision as your best role in small group meetings?
