Task The WHO’s Active ageing framework (2002) states that engaging in appropriate physical activity, not smoking and using medications wisely in old age can preve disease and functional decline, extend longevity and enhance one’s quality of life Critically analyse the nurses role is supporting the older person to achieve the following 3 essential concepts: engaging in appropriate physical activity, not smoking and using medications wisely. In your response discuss current eviden based rationales for why these are specifically relevant/ important for older peop and how they contribute to healthy ageing. See rubric for further guidance
