I believe there are many ways technology can benefit the transfer of learning. According to Noe (2017), transfer of learning refers to trainees effectively and continually applying what they have learned in training to their jobs. Technology has many different ways of helping the transfer of learning. Technology can help organizations make videos or tutorials on how specific things should be handled or used. Employees are able to chat and post different videos they may have found use full to share with their peers online. Another benefit is that employees would be able to access these videos or tutorials on a need by need basis.
For example, Publix will use training videos for all new employees so they can see how they like things done around the store. This video covers from how to stock food at the end of the night to how to deal with angry customers. This is very beneficial for the employees to see as they can visualize and physically see how a situation is handled. Another example is from my old company, SkyBridge. When I first started working there they had me go through many different types of training, one that included technology. I went on a computer and watched videos and tutorials on how to use there CRM system “Maxhire”. Without watching and being taught how to use this technology, I would have really struggled to figure it out on my own. It was also beneficial to have access to these videos as time went on so I could access these if I forgot how to use a certain tool.
I believe as long as your technology is up to date and easy for employees to use this is a very appropriate implementation to the transfer of learning. Technology can also be very beneficial, is used correctly.

Illustrate how technology can benefit the transfer of learning
Learning can be beneficial through technology. If Employee’s were offered more input or control of their own training, they could receive that training as a need be basis. If they do not feel confident or could feel more secure with more of the job knowledge, they can have training at their figure tip. “Studies have found that peer and manager support for training is critical, along with employee enthusiasm and motivation to attend training” (Noe, 2016). Not having to wait until the next new hire or training class puts the learning control in the hands of the employees. Offering training availability through technology would be beneficial to the organization as well as the employee. Accessing training through technology save the organization money and time. Employee’s do not have to leave and can assess the training via the company’s web. “Technology-based training (such as online learning), and methods that allow interpersonal interaction among trainees” (Noe, 2016)
Use specific examples from your own experience or research how other organizations have utilized technology in learning.
Online access is taking over in many fields. I recently had to visit the DMV to get my tags. I could schedule an appointment online in which I did, next I waited in a short line to get a number from the clerk. After receiving that number, I was directed to the Kiosk to enter the number received from the clerk. I inputted all my updated information and the machine disbursed my new tags. It was a relief to not have to spend long hours at the DMV. Next, I went to the social security building to order a new social security card. As I waited in the long line outside under the hot sun, I started to get restless. I noticed on the building a sign. It read, avoid waiting in line & go online www.ssa.gov/ssnumber. As I waited in line, I created a password, logged on and ordered my replacement card before the line even moved. Lastly, I attended my daughter’s back to school night at DaVinci High School. Since her school is tech savvy, they implemented new procedures where the students do training online. If you need to schedule a meeting with the teacher it’s via the web. If the students are absent, they’re able to video message the teacher for online training while they’re out sick. As a parent, I felt secure in the many options my child was offered. All the examples I experienced shows how effective, easy access and convenience of virtual training offers.
Comment on the appropriateness of the technology implemented to facilitate the transfer of learning.
Implementing technology to facilitate the transfer of learning shows the progression of today’s time. I believe implementing technology offers the learning to employees without reaching a limit. Not only is it a convenient method, it allows everyone access to information at any point in time. Technology is the current way of the world in 2017

Starting with this provided code, add the following functionality

1.Starting with this provided code, add the following functionality: Replace hardcoded strings “Zero”, “One”, “Two”, “Three” in the ArrayList based on user typed input (use Scanner or JOptionPane classes). The user will be prompted for the String to be stored in the ArrayList and then hit enter. The user will be able to continue to add items to the ArrayList until they just hit enter without typing anything. Once the user does this (hits enter without typing anything), the program will display all of the elements of the ArrayList, both the index and String values, in a table. It will do this via a single loop making use of an iterator method. 2. Starting with this provided code, add the following functionality: Use a Try/Catch block so that the exception is caught and the program exits a bit more gracefully. Save this file as TryCatch.java. (Be sure to rename the Public Class accordingly.) Starting with the provided code again (without the Try/Catch block), fix the code so that
